Gulmi Single-Origin Pour-Over
Rs. 450Bright, washed beans from the Gulmi hills — notes of orange blossom, honey, and stone fruit, brewed cup by cup.
Himalayan single-origin pour-overs and slow Kathmandu mornings, served under a rising cloud of steam.
Reserve a Window SeatHimal & Bean began on a fog-wrapped morning in Jhamsikhel, with one drum roaster, a stack of hand-thrown kulhads, and beans carried down from the hills of Gulmi and Sindhupalchowk. We chase single-origin Nepali coffee the way trekkers chase a clear view of the range — patiently, and all the way to the source.
We roast in small batches behind the bar, brew pour-over by pour-over, and froth our chiya the old way with cardamom and cinnamon. Pull up a low wooden stool by the courtyard window, watch the steam curl into the light, and stay as long as the morning lets you.
Reserve a window seat by phone or WhatsApp. We happily accept eSewa, Khalti, and all major cards.
“The most cinematic cup in the Valley. Watching the steam curl into that courtyard light with a Gulmi pour-over in hand is its own small ritual.”
“My Saturday ritual in Jhamsikhel. The cardamom honey latte is unreal and the window seats are worth arriving early for.”
“Single-origin Nepali coffee done with real care, and they take Khalti so I never fumble for change. Best chiya-to-pour-over range in town.”
