01The Hands Behind It
Five generations of Newar craft, from Patan to your home
Every piece begins in a courtyard workshop in Patan and Bhaktapur, shaped by artisans whose families have practised the same craft for centuries. Singing bowls are hammered from a seven-metal alloy; Thangkas are painted with mineral pigments and 24-karat gold; pashmina is hand-loomed from high-Himalayan cashmere. We pay our makers fairly and name them with pride.

Questions, answered
Are the singing bowls really tuned?
Yes — each bowl is hand-tuned by ear to a specific note. The tone you hear when you tap it in the studio is synthesised at the same base frequency as the real piece.
Is the Thangka hand-painted?
Every Thangka is painted by hand on cotton canvas with mineral pigments and 24-karat gold, then consecrated. No two are identical.
How do I pay and receive my order?
We accept eSewa, Khalti, bank transfer or cash. Delivery is insured across Nepal, typically within 5–7 days.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. We handle customs paperwork for Thangka and craft exports and ship worldwide via courier.
