L'Éternité Solitaire
La SignatureThe ring the film is about: a one-carat round brilliant held by four hand-raised claws on a knife-edge band. Cut to ideal proportions so the fire never sleeps.
Scroll slowly. Over the next minute a rough crystal will be found, cut, and set — the same journey every Éclat ring has made for three generations.
Deep beneath everything, carbon waited in darkness — unhurried, unseen, already perfect in its intent.
One crystal in a hundred tonnes of stone. Our lapidaries choose theirs the way you chose each other — instantly, and without doubt.
The cutter holds a decision in each hand: remove forever, or reveal forever. Weeks of patience, one breath per facet — until the stone learns to hold light.
Four claws rise to hold what the earth let go. Choose the metal below — rose, yellow, white, or platinum — and watch the promise take its final form.
This is the distance only two people ever share with a ring. Inner fire, hand-polished claws, an engraving meant for one reader.
The workshop falls away. What remains is a small, patient circle of light — and the rest of your life to give it meaning.
One stone, one story — told from the dark of the earth to the light of her hand.
Éclat began in 1962 as a single workbench behind a watchmaker's shop — a grandfather who believed a ring should be cut for the hand that will wear it, not for the case that displays it. We still make fewer than three hundred pieces a year. Every stone is chosen in person, every claw raised by hand, every engraving cut by the same three families of artisans. When you commission an Éclat ring you are not buying from a collection; you are joining a story that has been told slowly, on purpose, for sixty years.
Turn any piece under the loupe, read its secrets at each numbered point, and dress it in the metal of your story — then reserve it for a private viewing.

Every entry below is made at one bench, in one edition, for one story. Study any of them under the loupe above.

Two stones that never quite touch — a pink and a white brilliant circling one another on a crossover band. For loves that met as strangers.
A river of light for the collarbone — a single drop-cut diamond on an invisible-link chain, hung to move when she laughs.
Twin champagne diamonds in barely-there halo settings. The pair we recommend for the morning after the question.
A solid, seamless oath of a bangle — no clasp, no ending. Forged from a single ingot and burnished for a week.
A royal-blue sapphire raised on the Éternité setting — for families who pass their promises down instead of putting them away.
You tell us the story — the person, the hand, the life the ring will live. We listen for an hour before we show you a single stone.
Three to five crystals, chosen for you alone, viewed under north light. You will know yours; everyone always does.
Six weeks of cutting, raising, and polishing at a single bench. You receive photographs at every act of the journey.
The ring leaves us in a hand-bound box with its story engraved inside the lid. The rest of the story is yours to write.
“I scrolled through the story of the stone the night before I proposed, and realised I was shaking. When she opened the box, the same fire from the screen was sitting in it.”
“They asked about us for an hour before showing us anything. The ring feels less like a purchase and more like a portrait.”
“My grandmother's sapphire, recut and reset for my daughter. Three generations in one small blue stone — they understood without being told.”
Everything couples ask us before they commission — and a promise that no question is too small for the bench.
Six to eight weeks from the stone viewing to the finished ring. We photograph every stage — the rough crystal, the cut, the setting — so you own the whole story, not just the ending.
Every stone above 0.3 carats carries a GIA certificate, and all rough is bought through Kimberley-compliant houses we have visited ourselves. We will happily show you the paper trail of your exact stone.
Yes — the metal toggle on this page is the same choice you make at the bench: rose gold, yellow gold, white gold, or platinum, at no change in making time. Two-tone commissions add one week.
For life, without charge. An Éclat ring returns to the same bench that made it — we keep the measurements and the engraving hand on file for every piece we have ever finished.
One hour, one bench, no obligation — bring the story and Éclat will bring the stones.
