Our Story

Forno Himalaya

Forno Himalaya started with a hand-built brick oven hauled up a narrow Patan lane and a stubborn belief that great pizza is mostly patience. Our dough is a slow 48-hour ferment, blistered in 90 seconds over flaming sal wood, and finished with San Marzano tomatoes, hand-pulled mozzarella, and herbs from the valley.

We keep the fire roaring from noon to late, the tables long, and the welcome warm. Order at the counter or reserve ahead — we accept eSewa, Khalti, and all major cards, so you can leave your worries (and your wallet fumbling) at the door.

Word of Mouth

Loved by the Valley

“The closest thing to Naples I have found in Kathmandu. That 90-second char on the Margherita is unreal.”
Aayush Shrestha
“We come back every weekend for the Tartufo Nero. Warm room, smoky crust, and they take Khalti — perfect.”
Sneha Maharjan
“You can taste the wood smoke in every bite. The Diavola has a beautiful Newari-style kick. Highly recommend.”
Bikash Gurung
