Our Story

From The Cart Up

Dhuwa Momo started on a fold-out cart off a Jhamsikhel gully, with one steamer, one charcoal grill, and a stubborn idea — Kathmandu street food should slap.

Everything is built to order, loud and fast: dumplings pleated by hand all morning, sekuwa charred over live coals till the edges catch, and achar roasted till it smokes. Pull up, grab a tray, eat with your hands. That's the whole plan.

Queue moves quick and the grill never sleeps. Pay your way — cash, eSewa or Khalti — and chase it with a cold lassi.

Word On The Street

They Said It

“The best plate of jhol momo in the valley comes off a cart in Jhamsikhel. The broth is borderline addictive.”
The Kathmandu Post
“Came for one plate, left with three and zero regrets. The chicken sekuwa is unreal — order extra.”
Sushmita Gurung
“Loud, fast, smoky, perfect. Line moves quick and they take eSewa, so I'm here twice a week.”
Bibek Shrestha
