Computer Science Student & Aspiring Software Engineer
Final-year CS undergrad in Kathmandu who loves turning messy problems into clean, fast web apps. Looking for a summer 2026 software internship.
Kathmandu, Nepal
Namaste! I'm Prerana, a final-year Computer Science student at Tribhuvan University with a soft spot for the web platform and anything that makes software feel instant. My journey started in a crowded computer lab in Patan, debugging my first HTML page until 2 a.m. — and I've been chasing that "it works!" feeling ever since.
These days I build full-stack projects with React, Next.js and Node, mentor first-years at our college coding club, and spend weekends at Kathmandu hackathons fuelled by milk tea. I care about accessible, inclusive interfaces, writing tests I'd trust, and shipping things real people actually use.
I'm hunting for a summer 2026 internship where I can learn from senior engineers, contribute to a real codebase, and grow into a thoughtful software engineer. If that sounds like your team, let's talk.

Summer intern on a 4-person product team. Shipped reusable React components, fixed 20+ UI bugs, and added keyboard navigation to a customer dashboard. Wrote my first unit tests with Vitest.

Mentor 15+ first-year students in web fundamentals and Git. Run fortnightly hands-on sessions and a beginner-friendly 'Build Your First Site' workshop each semester.
Sahayata Nepal (NGO)
Rebuilt a local NGO's donation site with Next.js, improving mobile load time and making the form screen-reader accessible. Trained two staff members to update content.
Self-employed
Designed and built small marketing sites for Kathmandu cafes and startups, handling everything from Figma mockups to deployment on Vercel.
“Prerana was the most curious intern on our team — she picked up our codebase fast, asked sharp questions, and left the dashboard more accessible than she found it.”
“One of those rare students who pairs strong fundamentals with genuine craft. Her capstone was the cleanest project I reviewed all year.”
“Calm under pressure and brilliant at the whiteboard. Prerana glued our whole hackathon project together in the final hours.”
I'm Prerana Thapa, and I'd love to hear about your team. Drop me a line and I'll reply within a day.
